Virgin Voyages · Adults only · Planned around you
Your time away.Your kind
of grown-up getaway.
Dinner worth lingering over. A late night if you want one. Sea air, new places and room to do your own thing. Virgin Voyages brings a different rhythm to cruising, with every guest aged 18 or older.
I’ll help you decide whether that rhythm fits you, then compare the cabin, fare and itinerary that make it work.
Couples, friends and solo travelers. A vacation with space to be yourself.
Picture your vacation
A little freedom.
A lot of possibility.
I’d put Virgin in the conversation when an adults-only ship, varied dining and a less traditional cruise atmosphere sound like your kind of escape.
Make time for each other.
An anniversary, a honeymoon or simply a week away. Tell me whether you picture long dinners, exploring ashore, nights out or quiet mornings together.
Bring your favorite people.
A birthday or friends’ getaway can mix shared plans with time apart. We’ll discuss rooms, dining and what your group actually wants to do.
Follow your own interests.
You may want a social trip, some solitude or both. We’ll compare available solo cabins with other single-occupancy options and their actual pricing.
Let dinner become a destination
Explore the menu.
Change the mood.
Virgin’s approach replaces the traditional main dining room and buffet format with a collection of restaurants and The Galley food hall.
Try a different setting.
Examples include The Wake, Extra Virgin, Pink Agave, Gunbae and Test Kitchen. Think steakhouse, Italian, Mexican, Korean barbecue and an experimental dining concept. The restaurant lineup varies by ship.
Meet at The Galley.
This food hall brings several counters and cuisines into one space. It’s useful when you want something more casual or your travel companions are craving different things.
Reserve what matters.
Book priority dinners when your reservation window opens. Timing depends on fare and cabin benefits; preferred times aren’t guaranteed. Leave room for changes and check availability onboard.
Compare the complete vacation
Look beyond
the starting fare.
Virgin includes several things that may be separate purchases elsewhere. Their value depends on what you’ll use and the booking you choose.
What’s generally included.
- Your accommodation and standard restaurant meals.
- Essential drinks such as water, soda, drip coffee and tea.
- Wi-Fi, with the level determined by your fare or suite.
- Included entertainment, fitness facilities and group fitness classes.
What may cost extra.
- Alcohol and other premium beverages beyond any credit or suite allowance.
- Service gratuities under current booking terms.
- Shore excursions, spa treatments and optional experiences.
- Premium dining extras, plus flights, hotels and transfers.
VoyageFair Choices
Same vacation idea.
Different booking choices.
Virgin’s Base, Essential and Premium fare structure applies to eligible Sea Terrace categories and below. Compare the terms as carefully as the benefits.
A firm commitment.
A nonrefundable option without name, cabin or voyage-date changes. It includes Basic Wi-Fi and a later dining reservation window. Consider it when your plans are settled.
More room to adjust.
Includes Classic Wi-Fi and conditional booking flexibility. Name, cabin and date changes have restrictions; cancellation flexibility may mean future voyage credit rather than a cash refund.
Compare the added benefits.
Includes Premium Wi-Fi for two devices, beverage credit and earlier dining reservations. We’ll confirm the credit, flexibility and other benefits in your quote.
Build around your habits
Do you need
a Bar Tab?
Virgin’s Bar Tab is prepaid credit for eligible premium beverages. It isn’t an unlimited drink package, and drinking alcohol isn’t required to enjoy the voyage.
A beverage budget.
Eligible purchases can include alcoholic and premium nonalcoholic drinks. You can buy drinks for others; everyone in your cabin doesn’t have to purchase a Bar Tab. Unused credit is generally nonrefundable.
Estimate what you’ll enjoy.
Think about sea days, port days and your usual orders. Then account for any credit already included in your fare. Compare buying drinks individually with the current Bar Tab offer.
Choose your retreat
A place to recharge.
A view worth considering.
Start with how you’ll use the room. Then compare the specific layout, occupancy, location and view before choosing a category.
Put the budget where you want it.
An interior cabin can suit travelers who expect to spend most of their time around the ship and ashore. Consider whether natural light matters to you.
Bring the ocean into view.
A window gives you daylight and a view without a private terrace. We’ll check the exact category and any obstruction.
Step outside and slow down.
A private terrace adds outdoor space. Almost all Sea Terraces have Virgin’s signature hammock, but there are exceptions. Confirm the actual cabin if the hammock is part of your plan.
When the room becomes part of the experience
RockStar or Mega RockStar?
Compare what you’ll use.
Virgin’s suites bring additional space, service and benefits. The two suite experiences have different inclusions, and layouts vary.
Suite space and added access.
Benefits include Richard’s Rooftop access, specified priority arrangements, RockStar service support and an initial curated in-room bar. That bar doesn’t mean unlimited drinks throughout the ship.
A broader set of benefits.
Enhanced bar arrangements, an eligible daily onboard drinks allowance and thermal-suite access are among the added benefits. Allowance limits apply, and thermal access doesn’t include every spa treatment.
Life onboard
Stay out.
Work out. Stretch out.
Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady share the adults-only concept. Venues, entertainment and itineraries differ, so we’ll choose the actual ship as well as the line.
Find your evening.
Explore the ship’s shows, music and social events. Scarlet Night is a signature celebration, and red is a fun option to pack. Participation is your choice.
Keep an active rhythm.
Fitness spaces and included group classes can fit around your port plans. Check the schedule and any booking requirements onboard.
Leave some time open.
Read, enjoy the sea views or make a leisurely meal the plan. A busy entertainment schedule doesn’t mean your personal schedule has to be full.
Start with an idea
Where would you
like to wake up?
Use these as starting points for our conversation. They’re destination ideas, with actual ships, dates, ports and availability to compare when you’re ready.
A warm-weather escape.
Think island time, sea days and an adults-only getaway. We’ll compare departure ports, the actual stops and whether the trip includes Virgin’s Beach Club at Bimini.
Make the ports part of the story.
Consider a Mediterranean trip built around food, culture and exploring ashore. Port hours, travel time and a pre-cruise stay can shape the experience.
Take the adults-only idea north.
Virgin’s offerings now include Alaska. We’ll check available sailings, scenery, port time and excursion choices, plus the embarkation and return arrangements.

A few useful answers
Before you
choose your voyage.
Bring me the questions that matter to your trip. The specific booking terms and ship details will guide our final comparison.
Can I bring children on Virgin Voyages?
No. All guests must be at least 18 when the voyage begins. If anyone in your party is younger, I’ll help you compare other cruise lines.
Is Virgin Voyages all-inclusive?
Several meals, drinks and activities are included, but additional costs remain. Review the fare, service gratuities, premium beverages, excursions and other purchases you’re considering.
Is it a good fit if I don’t drink or party?
It can be. Dining, destinations, fitness and downtime may be your priorities. Tell me what atmosphere you enjoy so we can weigh the lively spaces and adult entertainment against your preferences.
Are restaurant reservations necessary?
They’re recommended for the dinners you especially want. Your booking window depends on the fare and cabin benefits. Availability and walk-in options vary; a preferred time isn’t guaranteed.
Does every Sea Terrace have a hammock?
Almost all do, with exceptions. We’ll verify the actual cabin, terrace design and any view obstruction before choosing.
Is a Bar Tab an unlimited drink package?
No. It’s credit toward eligible premium drinks. Purchases reduce the balance, and unused credit is generally nonrefundable. We’ll compare any included credit and the current offer with your likely spending.
Can I change my booking later?
It depends on the fare and terms. Base and Lock It In restrict changes; other choices offer conditional flexibility. Check deadlines, charges and whether cancellation produces a refund or future voyage credit.
Should I fly in the day before?
I strongly recommend it when practical. A delay, missed connection or baggage issue can put same-day boarding at risk. An earlier arrival adds breathing room; we’ll plan the hotel, transfer and ship’s required arrival time together.
