Norwegian Cruise Line · Planned around you

A new view.A little more
room to choose.

A long day ashore. Dinner when it fits your evening. A room that gives you space to unwind. Norwegian is worth exploring when dining flexibility and a choice of onboard experiences are high on your vacation list.

I’ll help you compare the ship, cabin and fare offer that turn those choices into your kind of getaway.

Couples, families, friends and solo travelers. Let’s start with how you want to spend your days.

Picture your vacation

Your people.
Your priorities.

Tell me whether the trip revolves around exploring ports, spending time together, a particular ship experience or a little of everything.

Couples & friends

Let the day shape the evening.

Flexible dinner plans can appeal when you want to vary your routine. We’ll balance time ashore, restaurant reservations and the entertainment you want to catch.

Solo travelers

Choose what matters to you.

A social setting? Your own balcony? A comfortable price? Those are different priorities. We’ll compare the available cabins and benefits rather than assume one solo option fits everyone.

Families & groups

Build around your people.

Share children’s ages, care needs and the plans you’d like to enjoy together. The right ship and room arrangements matter as much as the line.

Choose the actual ship

One line.
Different ways to experience it.

Outdoor spaces, attractions, restaurants and cabin products vary. A feature from a video belongs on the ship checklist before it becomes part of your vacation plan.

Norwegian Aqua

Look at the distinctive features.

Aqua’s attractions include the Aqua Slidecoaster, with outdoor spaces such as Ocean Boulevard. Compare its specific dining, entertainment and accommodations.

Check before choosing: participation requirements, any charges and the experiences you’ll actually use.

Compare another layout

Let the room join the decision.

A ship such as Norwegian Prima gives us a range of cabin categories to explore. The layout, location and category benefits can affect how you enjoy the trip.

Compare: sleeping arrangements, outdoor space, included privileges and access needs.

Across the fleet

Keep the itinerary in view.

Departure port, trip length and time ashore can change which ship makes sense. We’ll shortlist actual sailings that fit your dates and essential features.

Start with: where you want to go, how much time you have and what the ship should add.

Freestyle Dining

Dinner can follow
the day you’re having.

Norwegian’s dining approach removes fixed dinner assignments. Choose among the ship’s options within their operating hours and availability.

Included dining

Start with the foundation.

Designated main dining rooms, buffet dining and selected casual eateries are included. Your ship determines the venue lineup.

Specialty evenings

Add something you’ll enjoy.

Specialty restaurants have additional charges or eligible package coverage. Check the venues, meal allowance, menu exclusions and reservations for your booking.

A little coordination

Plan the meals that matter.

Flexibility doesn’t guarantee immediate seating. Reserve priority dinners and discuss group arrangements early, especially if everyone wants to eat together.

Compare the complete vacation

The starting fare
is only the starting point.

Separate the ordinary cruise foundation from your selected promotion. Then add the purchases you expect to make.

The cruise foundation

Build from the essentials.

  • Your booked accommodation.
  • Meals at designated complimentary restaurants.
  • Included onboard entertainment and selected activities.
  • The ship experience described for your actual sailing.
Complete the budget

Account for your choices.

  • Selected package charges and purchases beyond their coverage.
  • Daily service charges unless covered by your booking.
  • Excursions, spa services, paid attractions and other extras.
  • Flights, hotels, transfers and pre- or post-cruise plans.

Understand the actual offer

What does
Free at Sea cover?

Eligible bookings can include beverage, dining, internet and excursion benefits. Review who receives each one, its limits and the additional charges in your quote.

Beverages

Check what’s in your glass.

The current offer covers eligible open-bar drinks, with exclusions. Age and guest-position rules affect benefits. Package charges can apply; premium coffee, water and particular beverages require a closer look.

Specialty dining

A meal allowance.

The current allowance varies by cruise length; a seven- or eight-night sailing offers three qualifying meals. Check guest eligibility and charges. It isn’t specialty dining every evening, and reservations still depend on availability.

Wi-Fi

Minutes for the voyage.

The current offer provides 150 minutes per guest for the entire voyage, with one active device per login. That isn’t a daily allowance or unlimited streaming access.

Shore excursions

Credit with conditions.

Current terms provide a $50 credit per port toward eligible Norwegian excursions for the first guest on the reservation. It doesn’t pay for every traveler’s excursion. Exclusions and unused-credit rules apply.

Traveling on your own

Your own space.
Your own priorities.

Norwegian offers dedicated solo categories priced for one. Compare availability, location and the actual quote with other single-occupancy choices.

Studio accommodations

A room designed for one.

Studios can appeal when you want a compact personal retreat and spend much of the day around the ship or ashore. Check the layout and benefits on your chosen ship.

Solo Inside, Oceanview & Balcony

Choose the view you want.

Other solo categories let us compare natural light, outdoor space and budget. A solo label doesn’t guarantee the lowest price for every departure.

Choose what you’ll actually enjoy

The room.
And how you’ll use it.

Start with sleeping arrangements, location and the view you want. Then compare the benefits attached to the category.

Inside & Oceanview

Build from your priorities.

Would you rather put more of the budget toward ports, the room or a longer trip? Compare the actual size, layout and view.

Balcony

Add your own outdoor space.

If sea-air mornings or a private outdoor break appeal to you, compare the balcony’s size, location and any obstruction.

Club Balcony Suite

Review the category carefully.

Compare the additional space and specified benefits on your ship. Despite the name, Club Balcony Suite is a separate product from The Haven and doesn’t carry Haven access.

Other suite options

Check the exact privileges.

Suite products differ by ship. Review the accommodation and listed services rather than assume every suite has the same dining, lounge or private-deck benefits.

The Haven by Norwegian

A suite retreat.
The larger ship at your doorstep.

The Haven is worth comparing when added service and designated private spaces are part of the getaway you want.

Space & service

Make the suite part of the trip.

Haven benefits include butler and concierge service, along with specified priority arrangements. Compare the actual suite layout, terrace and sleeping configuration.

Spaces to verify

Look at your ship’s Haven.

Restaurant, lounge, pool and sundeck arrangements vary by ship. Some qualifying suites sit outside the main Haven complex, so location belongs in the comparison.

Plan for every age

Together time.
And activities of their own.

Share each child’s age on embarkation day and when you’d like supervised care. The program and its schedule both matter.

Splash Academy · Ages 3–12

Supervised activities while sailing.

This drop-off program requires children to be fully toilet trained, without diapers or pull-ups. Registration, operating sessions and participation conditions apply.

Entourage · Ages 13–17

A space for teens.

Explore the teen activities and daily schedule alongside your family’s shared plans. Program availability needs a ship-specific check.

Guppies Open Play

Play together.

Guppies provides scheduled parent-accompanied play for younger children. It is different from a staffed drop-off nursery.

Start with an idea

Where would you
like to wake up?

Use these as conversation starters. We’ll compare actual ships, dates, ports and availability when you’re ready.

Caribbean & Bahamas

A warm-weather getaway.

Compare beaches, sea days and the departure port that works for you. Check which private destinations appear on the actual route and what costs remain ashore.

Alaska

Let the scenery lead.

Look at port time and scenic cruising alongside the ship’s spaces. If a particular glacier or national park is essential, we’ll compare that exact itinerary detail.

Europe

Build around exploring ashore.

Compare the route, time in port and distance from the places you want to visit. A pre-cruise stay can become part of the experience.

A few useful answers

Before you
choose your cruise.

Bring me the questions that matter to your party. The actual ship and booking terms will guide our comparison.

Does flexible dining mean no reservations?

No. There isn’t an assigned dinner time, but restaurant hours, seating availability and specialty reservations still matter. We’ll plan the meals that are priorities for you.

Does Free at Sea make everything free?

No. Review the selected benefits, applicable package charges and daily service charges, plus purchases outside the coverage. A promotional name isn’t a complete vacation budget.

Is Free at Sea Wi-Fi unlimited?

The current standard benefit provides 150 minutes per guest for the voyage. Unlimited and streaming options are separate products or upgrade benefits, with eligibility rules.

Does a solo cabin always include Studio Lounge access?

We need to check the ship and category. The official overview and footnotes use different wording, so lounge access should be confirmed before it becomes part of your plan.

Is Club Balcony Suite the same as The Haven?

No. They are separate cabin products. Club Balcony doesn’t include Haven access; compare the specific room and category benefits you want.

Can my child attend Splash Academy while we go ashore?

Current policy says Splash Academy doesn’t operate while docked or anchored. Tell me if port-day care is essential so we can investigate a suitable alternative.

Is Norwegian a good option for families?

It can be, depending on the children’s ages, care needs and ship. Check youth-program eligibility and hours. Norwegian Spirit has no dedicated youth programs, and Guppies is parent-accompanied play.

Should I fly in the day before?

I strongly recommend it when practical. A delay, missed connection or baggage issue can put same-day boarding at risk. We’ll plan the hotel, transfer and ship’s required arrival time together.
