Carnival Cruise Line · Planned around you
Bring your people.Find your
kind of fun.
A pool afternoon. A comedy show. A new port to explore together. Carnival is worth considering when a casual atmosphere, shared activities and plenty of ways to enjoy the day sound like your kind of vacation.
I’ll help you compare the actual ships, rooms and sailings, then build a plan around the experiences your people want.
Families, friends, couples and groups. Let’s start with what “fun” means to you.
Picture your vacation
Good company.
More ways to spend the day.
Your perfect cruise might center on family time, exploring ports or a lively evening. Those priorities help us choose the right Carnival experience.
Find something to share.
Tell me the children’s ages and which experiences you want together. We’ll look at activities, room layouts and the programs that fit each child.
Make the getaway yours.
Maybe it’s comedy and a late night. Maybe it’s a balcony morning and a beach day. We’ll balance the ship’s atmosphere with how you want to unwind.
Travel together, with choices.
Different cabin and spending preferences can belong in one trip. Start with the departure everyone can make and the plans you’d like to share.
Choose the actual ship
One line.
Different days onboard.
A feature you saw in a video may belong to a particular ship. Let’s check the deck plan, dining and attractions behind the sailing you’re considering.
A wide choice of spaces.
Mardi Gras, Carnival Celebration and Carnival Jubilee are examples of Carnival’s Excel ships. Their themed zones, dining and attractions deserve a closer look.
A feature to check: BOLT, the onboard roller coaster, carries an additional charge and has participation requirements.
Look at the whole experience.
A ship such as Carnival Panorama gives us another layout and set of venues to compare. Decide which activities you’ll use rather than choosing solely by size or launch date.
Compare: dining, outdoor spaces, family activities and the actual room categories.
Let the route join the decision.
Departure port, trip length and time ashore may matter as much as a particular attraction. We’ll compare the ship that supports your dates and destination.
Start with: your travel window, preferred ports and essential onboard features.
Compare the complete vacation
The starting fare
is only the starting point.
You can enjoy the included offerings or add experiences that appeal to you. The useful comparison follows what you expect to do.
What’s generally included.
- Your accommodation.
- Designated main dining and casual food venues.
- Specified basic drinks, including non-specialty coffee, tea, lemonade and water in designated locations.
- Included shows, music, pools, fitness facilities and age-qualified youth activities.
What may cost extra.
- Alcohol, premium drinks and optional beverage packages.
- Specialty dining, paid room service and selected attractions.
- Internet, excursions, spa services, photographs and other purchases.
- Daily gratuities, applicable service charges, flights, hotels and transfers.
Build around your habits
Do you need
a drink package?
Start with your usual orders and time onboard. Buying drinks individually may work well; a package is another choice to compare.
Look at the whole cabin’s cost.
Under current U.S. terms, CHEERS! is for guests 21 and older, and every guest 21+ in the same cabin must purchase it when one does. It includes qualifying alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, with exclusions and price limits.
The alcoholic-drink limit is 15 in the defined 24-hour period. It isn’t a promise of service, and the package cannot be shared.
Match the drinks you enjoy.
Compare the included basic beverages with Bottomless Bubbles and CHEERS! Zero Proof. These packages have different coverage. Zero Proof offers premium nonalcoholic choices, with age restrictions on certain items.
We’ll check the current terms and total price against what you expect to order.
Make meals part of the plan
A familiar dinner routine.
Or a little more flexibility.
Carnival offers assigned early or late dining and Your Time Dining, subject to availability. Choose the approach that fits your evenings.
Meet at the same time.
A set time and table can give your party a predictable evening routine. Request your preference early; availability and waitlists matter.
Work around your day.
Check in when you’re ready, including through the Carnival HUB app. Seating depends on availability and party size. Larger groups may wait longer or need multiple tables.
Explore your ship’s flavors.
Included spots can include Guy’s Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina on applicable ships. Optional specialty experiences may include a steakhouse, teppanyaki or The Chef’s Table.
Plan for every age
Together time.
And activities of their own.
Share each child’s age on embarkation day, along with the care you’re looking for. Different ages use different programs.
An age-two starting point.
Supervised, age-based groups offer activities for younger children. Registration and participation conditions apply; confirm any support your child needs.
A space for younger teens.
Explore the activities and social opportunities for this age group. The daily schedule helps your family balance independent plans with shared time.
Let older teens find their rhythm.
Check the teen program alongside the ship’s other activities. Siblings in different age groups may have different schedules.
Choose the room and its benefits
Where you recharge
can shape the trip.
Start with interior, oceanview, balcony or suite accommodations. Then compare whether a ship-specific category adds something you’ll use.
Space, view and location.
We’ll check beds, occupant limits, connecting-room availability and any view obstruction. Balcony and patio designs differ; photos of one category don’t describe every room.
Family conveniences to compare.
On applicable ships, this category adds access to the Family Harbor Lounge and specified family benefits. Check the actual layout and inclusions against your family’s needs.
A wellness option.
Compare designated spa-category benefits, including applicable thermal facilities. The facilities vary by ship, and access doesn’t mean every treatment is included.
Explore the category’s spaces.
These ship-specific options have distinct designs and access benefits. Guests must be at least 12. Compare the actual outdoor arrangement, location and privileges.
Find your daily rhythm
A little laughter.
A little fresh air.
You don’t need to fill every hour. Choose a few experiences you’re excited about, then leave room to enjoy being away.
Find your evening.
Compare comedy, production shows and music on your ship. Check the schedule and age guidance, especially when choosing performances with children.
Make the deck part of the day.
Look at the pools and available sports or water attractions. Confirm the features you want, any extra charges and participation requirements.
Seek out some downtime.
On applicable ships, Serenity is an included retreat for guests 21 and older. It provides an adult space within a ship that welcomes families.
Start with an idea
The ship is part of it.
Where you go matters, too.
These are conversation starters. Actual dates, ports, ships and availability need a current comparison.
A warm-weather getaway.
Compare beaches, time ashore and days onboard. The actual route determines whether a Carnival exclusive destination is included.
Let the scenery lead.
Look closely at the ports and scenic cruising. If a particular glacier or national park is essential, we’ll compare that exact itinerary detail.
Build around exploring ashore.
Compare available routes, port hours and how much travel each stop involves. A pre-cruise stay can become part of the vacation.
Your trip, thoughtfully planned
Let’s connect the details.
I’m Travis. Share your dates, budget and who’s coming. I’ll help compare the sailing, cabin and travel arrangements, along with the extras you’ll enjoy.
A few useful answers
Before you
choose your cruise.
Bring me the questions that matter to your party. The actual ship and booking terms will guide our comparison.
Is Carnival only for families or party trips?
It can suit several kinds of travelers. Think about the atmosphere and activities you enjoy, then compare the ship, duration and itinerary with those preferences.
Are all Carnival ships alike?
No. Layouts, dining, attractions and cabin categories differ. Confirm a must-have feature on the actual ship before choosing the sailing.
Can a two-year-old use Camp Ocean?
Camp Ocean is designed for ages two through eleven. Registration, participation conditions and any individual support needs still need review.
Does everyone in our cabin need CHEERS!?
Under current U.S. terms, if one guest buys CHEERS!, every guest aged 21+ in that cabin must buy it. Compare the combined cost with everyone’s expected use.
Is there an adults-only place to relax?
Serenity is a 21+ retreat on applicable ships. Carnival remains a family-welcoming line, so an entirely adults-only ship is a different requirement to discuss.
Does a spa cabin include spa treatments?
Cloud 9 Spa categories have specified benefits, with facilities varying by ship. Check the exact inclusions; thermal access doesn’t mean every treatment is included.
Can our group eat together every evening?
Share that priority early. We’ll request suitable dining arrangements and coordinate bookings. Table sizes, seating availability and group size affect what can be arranged.
Should I fly in the day before?
I strongly recommend it when practical. Flight delays, missed connections or baggage issues can threaten same-day boarding. We’ll plan the hotel, transfer and ship’s required arrival time together.
